USA vs. Greek National Debt

The national debt in Greece is $240 billion. The national debt in USA is $18.5 TRILLION. This means the American national debt is almost 80 times bigger than the debt in Greece. Not only does America have no current plans of paying this off, we're also adding over a trillion a year. But what worries me most is that the people running this country don't seem worried. It's insane!

Greece is on the verge of defaulting on it's debt. America should take note.

A Greek exit from the European Union (Grexit) and huge economic hits are looking likely for Greece. The USA should take note as we're approaching $20 trillion in national debt, increasing by about $1 trillion per year. This rate of debt increase is unprecedented in American history.
