The same federal government that illegally targets Tea Party groups for audit is now targeting Chris Christie for his role in "Bridge-gate". In "Bridge-gate," Chris Christie's former cabinet members closed down a street to "get back" at the Democratic mayor who didn't endorse Christie for election.
The double standard here is obvious. It's OK for Democrats to target Tea Party groups for audit. It's OK for the NSA to illegally spy on its allies and citizens. It's OK when Obama's cabinet gives Mexican drug lords guns and ammo in "Fast and Furious". It's OK for Mayor Daley in Chicago to bulldoze a field to get back at a Republican Governor. But once a Republican Governor's staff plays a minor political "prank" and inconveniences a small part of town for a day, all hell breaks loose. "The US Attorney in New Jersey is taking the investigation extremely seriously, and recently increased the number of investigators on the case from three to 10" (Link).
As always, the views expressed on this page are expressed with humility and respect rather than anger or hatred. Though I currently feel this way based on the information I have gathered, I realize that I have been wrong before and am not immune to mistakes. I also realize there are good people who disagree with my views. As a result, my purpose on this blog is to ignite respectful dialogue rather than digressing into name calling and insults. Friends can disagree. :)
