Pat Sajak recently posted a tweet that raised some eyebrows - and some fists:
In one sense, I do feel like our pollution is destroying this earth. We are dumping tons of plastic into oceans, which is killing wildlife.
Also, I've lived in Shenzhen, China, for 1.5 years now. I ride my bike everywhere around here, and I am extremely tired of choking on smog ever day...
Living here has made me realize we need to "connect with nature" more. Plant more trees. Walk and ride bikes more. Stop using so much plastic. Stop eating so many animal products at every meal. Air pollution has shown to cause lung cancer - so for me, this is a pro-life issue.
That being said, I do like Sajak and I know things are much better in America - which is where Sajak made that comment from. I am tired of people calling for his head. I think Americans need to have thick skin and realize another thing that China has taught me: Free speech in America is a beautiful thing.
