Drudge's credibility at choosing candidates, in my opinion, should be questioned. He reminds me of a kid that orders a large chocolate ice cream cone only to throw it away, saying he wanted vanilla all along. Or possibly a financial planner that convinces you to dump all of your money on a failing stock, then denying any responsibility afterwards. Dear Drudge: You gave us Trump, now either stick with him or admit that you're not the best at choosing presidential candidates. But you can't do both things.
With all of the above being said, I still do check the Drudge Report, as Matt Drudge is a pro at breaking stories and creating hype. I'm a major free speech advocate, even if I don't always agree with his conclusions or spin. Also, it is his right to change his opinion on a candidate. Yet I do think it puts a question mark on his credibility, at least in the short term.
